Does anyone have any Buff or Blue Orpington hens?

Southern Bee Lady may have some. She had some young ones, but I am not sure what age and what colors she has left. I have a blue that I got from her at 4 days old that I am thinking is a pullet. I am really hoping she is! Send her a PM on here, she is pretty busy right now, but can usually respond to private messages.

I see you are from York. My daughter works at York Place as a therapist. It is a neat little town. We always go to the Christmas program at York Place and then go to lunch with Meg.

Thank you! Yes, York is a cute little town. We live on the outskirts and when we go into York its like a time-warp.

Yancy--unfortunately I have the incubator and that is what I am addicted to! lol! I am thinking that if I am hatching to give them away(or possibly sell) that it would not be as much fun plus I don't know how I would feel about giving up my babies!!
I have a Bator also and I HAD to BOX it back up...and Put that thing away. My yard runneth over with chickens(well actually I could have a few more but I may in the future want a different breed so I'll keep a few spaces open) ...I was getting crazy with the babies. Oh I still have a few more that are being raised that I will have to find homes for...BUT I'm Done with Hatching and if you see me post about doing it....PLEASE STOP ME!!!!!!!!!! thanks in advance

I actually ended up driving to York not long after I posted this. I was going to meet my daughter in Gaffney this evening to take her recently repaired car to her, but decided to go ahead and meet her at work instead. The hardest part of the drive is remembering not to speed on Highway 5!

Hmmm I am not sure I would be much help. I do still have my bator box. Maybe I should pack it up and see if that helps. I keep thinking if I have too many boys in my current batch that I might get to hatch again. At the same time though I think it will be sad when I have to give them all up!
