I sold my RIR champion cockerel to the breeder I got him from. Since I sold him I get his chicks but if I had kept him I would not get any chicks but I would have him for show. I am happy with my choice to sell him but I still kind of miss him.

I'm sure he'll have handsome chicks.

I gave up an ornery Starlight Green Egger rooster but I hatched 4 mutt girls and 2 boys from him so we'll see how they do.
I miss him too.

I just got a purebred standard barred plymouth rock cockerel today!!!
he was born on easter 2025.
don't have any pics right now.

He's probably pretty too. My mixed breed rooster was born the day after Easter.

anyone with purebred standard hens ages 1-2 years old that they want to sell? I like barred plymouth rocks but any breed is good.

I like mixed breeds a lot and I had like all mixed breeds 2 years ago but I can't show them unless I have a pen of 3 so I would want from 4-5 birds to be sure I have the best 3 that look the same.

I have 3 barred rock hens at home but they are the production type you get at a hatchery so they are a lot smaller and their colors are more smokey and muddled so a purebred barred

plymouth rock hens would be wonderful but really any purebred breed.
