Southaven looking for Southaven chicks

Hi, i am in Southaven ms. I've just opened this account because a lot of answers i ran across on google ended up on this page. I'm curious if anyone is/has successfully kept chickens in Southaven specifically. Or do i need to look at moving we have 4 one for each kid. They are pets that just so happen to be useful past digging in the trash or scratching up my carpet. I'm not willing to forfeit my hens. We haven't had any issues yet. But we are new here. We are angled in our neighborhood in a way that we only have one connecting neighbor. Should i mention the hens to the neighbors? Would this create problems where there are none? Would a few free eggs keep them on their good side lol. Any tips or links appreciated.

What is the zoning of your area?
What is the size of your property?
Where is the coop on your property and is it close to other structures?

As for mentioning to the neighbors, I wouldn't lie about their presence, but I also wouldn't go out of my way to provide the information either. I would suggest just trying to fly under the radar as much as possible here.
