Southern CA Swap meet-up / Funday!

Hi Gumbii, Raffle is sort of optional, so don't sweat it. I am getting ideas from other BYCers on the best way to set it up and prices for the tickets. Eggs and/or birdies could be raffled no problem. Also allamericanchickie suggested a grand prize for the $$$$ which might be a good idea! Gas prices are thru the roof so it would be a great prize.
ONLY 20 MORE DAYS!

DH brought up a question-how does one get in the $$ drawing?

We where thinking whoever brings a raffle prize receives 2 tickets for every $5.00 worth of prizes and then however buys tickets and does not bring a raffle prize can place 1 inside the $$ prize container.

just another way to encourage raffle prizes.cause not every time will the same people bring a prize for it.
just my 2 cents

Tomorrow my bantam BBS Ameraucanas and Bantam NN are due to hatch. The smallest NN egg has already zipped and the baby is peeping. That one is in a hurry to catch up. Get out early and start to gobble down the feed !

For the NORCO meet.......if anyone has bantam polish eggs, I am interested ?

We did a raffle awhile back for the P.O.A. club awhile back, If you purchase a ticket or whatever you were able to choose random numbers from a bucket, cool way also is draw a playing card. When raffle begins the one with the lowest number or card chooses what item they would like.

If my girls are laying better and I get to come I should have eggs. I have chicks hatching for Easter and a couple more hatches after that, that are already set. I cplan on continuing to hatch them out the build up and better my breeding pens.

Maybe I'm old and uncool, but I have an 1980 hard cover edition Of the Standard of Perfection I'd like to donate to the raffle, but then again it may be something nobody wants

I figured it's a cool little collectible to have for a poultry lover to have if they don't already have one. I ask my boyfriend and he said know body wants that old thing it's from 1980!!!!!!
