sigh...

i have OEGB pullets and cockerels and that's about it... LOL... i'll try to see what i can take for the raffles... i will for sure have some OEGB eggs... but they might not be from my SQ stock... or maybe... i dunno... i'll have to ask my friend and see what he's gonna bring as well... maybe some SQ self blue OEGB eggs, or others...

I'm all excited about your OEGB!

Anyone interested in the plastic coated 50lb Purina Layena sacks to make grocery, etc., bags? These are the blues ones and a recent article in Backyard Poultry showed how easy they are to make. If anyone wants some, PM me and I will bring them on 4/30 to the meet. I hate to throw them away when they are so useful but I'm not a craft type person.

I would be very interested in having him. Was there anything you needed in trade? Or you can pm me with what you would like for him.

I have Jumbo Browns and more Texas A&M's but the Texas A&M's are of the same lines. I just hatched some the beginning of the week and I think my other batch is around 3-4 weeks old. I can sex the JB's but no clue on the Texas A&M's.

If anyone has any bantam culls (frizzle or silkie, preferred but not too picky) I'll adopt!

I'm really looking forward to this meet! It is inspiring me to have my new coop project done before then.

I spent my afternoon helping my fellow BYC'er finish up some very nice, basic coops. I am realizing that I am just WAY overthinking my whole new coop project, and that chickens do just fine without the over-managing, BUT my vision of sliding poop boards, and spill-free chicken nipples are making their ways into my dreams at night!!

... I can't let go!! I am imagining a fly (as in insect) -free chicken area, where everything is just going to be an adorable, fluffy, bug-free, happy little egg-laying nirvana.

My new coop is going to be the best yet.... LOL. ..as I am continually learning from my mistakes.

i will be bringing a silkie trio if anyone wants to trade them for any of these silver seabrights, oegb, modern game bantams, seramas, or some dutch bantams i'll post pics of them later they are 2 whites and i black.

I am going to bring this fellow with me to the Meet-up. His name is Squawky and he is an 8 month old EE roo. He has been living at the stables where I keep my horse. There are waay too many gamey-mutt roos there and he is starting to get beat-up. I do not want to see him get hurt bad. He was raised from a chick by another BYCer and is people friendly. Hope someone would like a good looking boy to dress up there yard.

please PM me if you are interested in Squawky.
