after feeding my flock, i think i have two roo's.... so maybe i'll take two pairs...?

i don't want to get rid of them, but i knew i wasn't going to keep all of them... i really only wanted a trio, but they were cheap, so i took them all... well, if i don't find a taker for them, i can always make mole out of them... mmmmmm... mole and rice... OMG BRB I'M STARVING!!!...

OR you could always get 20 more hens to make up for the extra 2 roosters lol

Now thats chicken Calculus..... the Absolute value of the sum of (1-2+3-4+...+1000)

I think I'm going to have to gouge my eyes out before I get to the meet... You all are KILLING me with the great stuff you're bringing!!! I brought home two chicks from the San Diego meet we had last weekend, and I got in BIG TROUBLE from DH. ... I bought a LF blue cochin pullet, and of course it came with a free Golden Phoenix cockerel.... I mean really, BOGO ?? How can you pass that up? Obviously DH doesn't understand chicken math! I'm pretty sure that BOGO cancels out the first one, right?

He does however understand chicken trigonometry...
1 coop too close to the house housing roosters, and and adjacent coop not far enough away for noisy hens requires that a third coop be built along the hypotenuse of 50 ft, in which to relocate the hens in front of my DD's bedroom..., then the original coop must be moved at a triangulation of 30 degrees, decreasing the original hypotenuse by at least 40 feet from our bedroom window for the roosters.... and giving them a western exposure, which might result in a later waking time, and assuming they will all work it out and get along....???

I should have hatching eggs available to bring. I just don't know how many of each breed. I have white runner duck, bantam black cochin, and WC Black/Blue cuckoo bantam polish eggs. DH is home alone doing all the collecting while I'm in Big Bear with the kids and Grandma. Since we hAve egg stealing squirrels in the yard I just don't know how many of each I'll have. I have a pet quality pair of bantam red Cochins (male frizzled) if anyone is interested. Possibly a couple of polish chicks and IF someone is interested a pair of very young white runners. PM me if you are interested in the birds. It's a long drive to travel with them.

See my page for pictures of my breeding stock.

Speaking of bogo. Gotta get to payless and get some new kickers for everyone. Yep I have plenty of lavs togo around. About 23 fluffies and 30 or so 2-3 weekers. I can do a bogo with the lavs. That sounds like a great opportunity to get rid of afew roos.
