I do have a hen that started making a crowing noise this morning. Freaked me out! I also have one that I think is trying to go broody. She was walking around kind of puffed up this morning, clucking constantly and trying to kick others out of the nest.

I have so many chickens that are "special", I thought my silkie, Swiffer, was just odd. Never went broody, limps and has no clear problem, and never laid an egg. She crowed. 8 months old!!!!!

oh goodness. will those pekin ducklings be there?? lol. my mom will KILL me if i get one, but i wanted pekins hahahaha (don't tell the scovies! lol they are my babies) too bad i don't have pen. lol, i'd get one

i swear he's a dog sometimes and not a duck lol.
