I am looking forward to tomorrow! I am trying to convince Ken to come with me, but he HATES going down the hill. I do to, but not to see friends!

been fighting a cold for a couple of days, but feeling a little better today.
maybe a big bowl of hot chicken soup will help get me over the hump.

I'm still planning on being there, with my 2 kids in tow. My 9 y.o. daughter Cameron, and 10 y.o. son Nickolas.
My wife will not be able to attend, due to she is required to be physically present, to get the kids registered for day/summer camp at the YMCA.
(what the heck kind of rule is that ???, Why can't we just write the dang check and give it to them anytime in advance???)

Cameron is very excited to come and share her Chicken stories,...
and Nickolas is very excited that we are going to BBQ. LOL!

(if anyone cares to contribute to the "Feed Nickolas, the Bottomless Pit Kid - Fund", feel free to do so).
Heck, I can even be convinced to send him home with you for a week or so, LOL!

So do we have an official head count yet ????
I'm heading to the store later on to get some tortilla's and asada/pollo meat for the BBQ.
What do you figure we need ?... about 3 to 4 lbs per person ??? LOL !

I just need an idea of how many are planning on being there.

I'm thinking we will have somewhere between 10 and 20 people. Kind of a big spread I know, but there are some people who aren't sure if they are going to make it or not. So far we have a veggie tray, chips and salsa, meat for the bbq, drinks, and cheesy rice. If someone hasn't responded with what they want to bring and need some ideas, we could probably use more side dishes or some fruit.

If you haven't gotten my address yet but want to attend, just shoot me a PM. I learned recently that emails generated from here go to my spam folder and I don't always notice them. Hope to see lots of people tomorrow! Hurray!

I'll definitely be there tomorrow, think i'll make 2 different versions of the rice( 1 normal and 1 spicy ). Going to watch my nephew play football in the Senior bowl tonight. Local senior high schoolers playing Arena style football.

I made a calulation error. The babies aren't due to hatch until 5/9. But I will be bringing some hatching eggs with me if anyone is interested!!!
