You were getting quail d'anvers soon, right? Those are GREAT for showmanship, I use one myself....
This was my first chicken show like your daughter's, and it can be intimidating, but then it's a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!!!​

@CBS. I am going to hatch Mille Fleur D'Anvers, yes. Can't get the eggs for a couple more weeks yet, which means I'll be missing out on the big Easter Hatch Along on the board.

Ill say "hi" to CBS on behalf of all BYC since we've already met.

I was thinking I'd make a nametag for myself if anyone wants to say Hi. Maybe you 4H'ers can PM each other with a secret code to identify one another that the general BYC population wouldn't know. That way you can cheer each other on, share hints, and meet up at future shows.

Yay! We are EXAUSTED.

Our Easter Egger placed 8th for Large Fowl and our Welsummer placed Second for Large Fowl. My daughter had her first showmanship experience and I could not be prouder.
