Ijust might want him! LOL...is he a friendly rooster? Do you have any cochins for sal?

yeah, he's nice and really crazy....classic polish behavior, i guess. he love the hens, is frightened of most other roosters, and likes people except he freaks out if you grab him and he doesn't know you're there, but he's never attacked or even pecked anyone. he's about 7 or 8 months now. i don't have any cochins for sale unless you want a five year old, mean mottled cochin rooster that might not be around much longer unless he stops attacking me

i hope you find your cochin

why so early?

Well, I don't want to do it after school, and they need to add oil to their feathers to make them more shiny....

Chicken Bath! THis is our EE who is going to be in Production Class. Can't show you our Wellie... she's planning on making an entrance in a giant egg carried by half-naked men and simply can't be seen ahead of time.

I will pass on the mean cochin roo! I have a really sweet mottled boy here and he has been giving me some great looking chicks that I have been hatching out over the last month or so. They have such great feathering on their feet, I might try and show him at a show this season. He is so sweet. Let me think on the polish, were you looking to get a certain amount for him?

uh...not so much. It is going to be tough for her. I think she will be ok-ish with displaying the chicken, but will have a hard time with questions. We've been working on the ones on the 4H website that are denoted for the Clover Class. Originally we were planning to have her do showmanship with the Wellsummer, but that chicken just got way too big. I'm going to have her do showmanship with the EE instead. As it turns out, the EE is much more willing to pose and be manipulated than the Wellie.

I'm looking forward to the fair. I wish *I* were in 4H!.

well, actually you can have him for free if you want. i was going to sell him for maybe 7 bucks, but that's just so i can be sure whoever takes him is serious about it. i have too many roosters right now and the sooner i can find homes for some, the happier we'll all be

Okay, Everything is all packed, tonight we are just going to clean the butt fluff on the Buff Orp Rooster.

Make sure that you guys have a separate showmanship bird!

On a side note.

I have a Quad of Duccles I would be willing to give to any 4Her interested in showing. The hens are show quality, hatched, raised and shown by me. I also have a bunch of Barred Rock Chicks (packing peanuts) I Just got in that I will give to anyone interested.
