Carolina, could she be getting picked on. I have her twin roaming around my yard and she is missing feathers around her upper neck because Denares the boss pulls them out every time she mounts her. She thinks she is a rooster.

Thanks to all, I just finished raising the fence line to a minimum of 7', hope that does the trick. It's amazing how they become pets in every sense .

So far I have 3 cream legbar, 2 welsummer, and 1 Ameraucana that hatched. More due Friday. I'm kinda sulky cause I'm letting the girls be mom this time and I miss the bonding I had with my previous chicks that I raised.

Woohoo a Welly girl hatched last night

How are you sexing the Welsummers? I just hatched out some Speckled Sussex, Partridge Rock and Welsummers under my broody this weekend. It looks like I have 2 chicks of each breed, but didn't know you could sex the Welsummers.

The girl welsummers have a dark distinct line on their head and eyeliner.
