Hi There. I have some bantams as pets. I started out as a duck person, with runners in the yard and one drake in the house. Then I got a house silkie. My first backyard chicken I found on the side of the road, feather less, sunburned and terrified. The poor dear had fallen off a truck on her was to be processed. Last summer a swarm of termites descended as I sat in my back yard. I love my gardens and mulch is a great place for termites! So I quickly acquired what ever littles I could get. Now I'm hooked. I especially love my seramas. My house is also full of budgies, lovebirds,Japanese movchen, Lhasa apso doggies and a starling. I am early retired, I was a welder fitter and spent my last year's in ship repair. Working on Lakers, conveniently I live on the Welland canal.

Did the chickens eat the termites? Chickens will no usually eat ants.
