Southern States Has Changed it's Feed

Southern States feed division was bought out by Cargill / Nutrena.
That's why a lot of their products aren't available anymore. I have used the sport bird developer many times and my birds do very well on it. But I usually either go back and forth between that and layer or mix the two 50/50. They should have non medicated available too, my SS carries both versions.

I'll check. Other than the medication it looks like a good feed.

It is, I've used it to feed turkeys, quail and chicks/chickens. Be aware though that their sporting bird starter 28% protein is medicated with something that can be toxic to dogs and horses, or it used to be, not sure about now because I don't buy it for that reason.

I don't have dogs or horses, but the warning is appreciated since people who do have them might be reading this.
