Well, I am only keeping 6 from this bunch and then the rest are being "homed" this weekend/next week. BUT.. I will have LOTS of babies coming at the beginning of May!! I'll be selling those to anyone interested.

Found this on CL Treasure Coast site. One of you might be interested.

Rhode Island Red fertile chicken eggs $6 a dozen. Hatch them yourself for fun!!

These eggs are from a Rhode Island Red rooster and a Red Star Hen (Rhode Island Red crossed with a Rhode Island White). Great temperment, beautiful chickens available to see.

The third is a Cochin something mix.. but.. he doesn't really have a tail at all. Just a little rounded rump.

WOW!! That IS a great deal! If I had big chickens that would be perfect! I think my little ones could squeeze through that pretty easily however.

We are hopefully working on the coop this weekend!! I can't wait. I will post pics

Oh! I went to the new Feed and Pet Outlet in Bithlo and they have 50lb bags of Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth for 29 ish dollars. Is that a good price? That's a TON of DE!!
