Space Coast Chicks?

Cool.. I got just the little container for now and that was $13 so next time I will get the big one. I've been putting it in the bed area in the hay as well as the sandy areas where the chicks take their dust baths most frequently. Where else should I put it? In feed right?

if you are bedding them on hay i would stop. It can mold quickly down here, plus the cost is higher than a bail of pine shavings from the feed store.

I dust their coop, the run, nest box, and add it to the scratch when i give it to them.

The feed store in Tittusville is fantastic, and carries great feed at a good price. Thursdays are birdie Thur and chick feed gets a discount.

I only use a little hay for inside the hutch we have for temporary housing until we get the coop build. It has a wire floor so pine shavings won't work. I'm just using a small amount for sleeping and change it every few days

It's great finding some locals on here. I have a barn yard mix. I also have turkeys. I'm looking for a male guinea hen for my two girls.
