I do have some small ferns that you can have, have to be dug up first. Get you some of that plastic fencing (green or black) and cut it just above chicken height and put around your plants, works great and cheap. We did entire yard so chicks could free range in afternoons.

Curious, what brand of feed does everyone use?

Does anyone around here use Oxine? I want to purchase some and it's a better price to buy 4 gallons at once... around $25 w/shipping for a gallon vs. $35 to get one single gallon.
Shellie- in answer to your feed question- we use the Rockin Rooster pellets+ yummy snacks as available

Forgive me for not following you exactly, but does that mean you are ordering Oxine anyway, and i could buy off you? Or what? What all do you order (and what do you use it for?) And from who?

I am ordering meds for all the critters. So wormer for the goats, chickens, geese,peafowl, dogs, cat. Antibiotics, chick saver, probios along with other things I am sure. I need to chechk the boxes to make my list. A couple of the local (or semi local) feed stores carry a good if not great selection of meds and supplies. Have you checked around before ordering? The store on N. US1 in Tittusville and the one on 50 in Christmas both keep a good selection in. I would bet the one on 50 carries Oxine as well. I need to go out there week since I know they stock my workers and chick saver.

Hi all...............just wanted to let you know I have a bunch of left over seedlings from my garden. If you want some, come and ge them. What I have to share is:

dill
thyme
oregano
cherry tomatoes
cleome (spider flower)
a mixed bag of small hot peppers

My garden runneth over and no room left
