Spalding male or hen?

Yellow faces are more a result of diet than anything. Even my Reinhold Bauer import line birds don't have much yellow on their faces.

I am wondering if hard water has something to do with face color. We have a high amount of sulfur in our water and it is known to bind nutrients and minerals from absorbing into animals' systems and causing reproductive problems as well.

So here is some young ones they are super young 2.5mo
I just wanted to ask if these 2 also look low percentage or look to have more percentage spalding.
I bought these chicks as emerald spaldings. I can only go as for what the seller says.

I'm glad these are what I bought.
The first one that started this thread I bought from someone else that was selling as Emerald spalding. Sad to know it's not what I bought.
