Spalding White

I went out yesterday with the camera to get photos of my sumatra chickens for a buyer..... but this spalding white male was a camera hog... I got more photos of him then the chickens!
So I thought I'd share some of them ..

I read that the spaulding white doesn't breed true, how does that work? All the offspring will be white correct? And some will be white spaulding and others "regular" white?

I think any spalding since it is a hybred will not breed true.... you can have parents with good java phenotype, but their offspring wont necesarily have the same phenotype.

The boy in my photo does not have a nice tall crest... but his sister does.
