me and my family like celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. commercialism. (I'm joking by the way)

Its kind of become a tradition every year we all go out to the mall to do some shopping and get like hot chocolate or something, so I do a lot of my Christmas shopping then

My problem is nobody tells me what they want. I have been through enough to where no, im not taking 'get whatever you want' as an answer, because i cannot read minds

Yes my kid is not cooperating on given a list. Only a couple things that are too expensive. Other family members are asking what to get him. I'm like bets me I'm having my own trouble picking things.

Yeah, I prefer cash as a gift since all of my hobbies need specific things, and nobody knows what I want, except the parents. Usually I get to pick out what I want. Saves me headaches.

I'm considering having my mom give the boy a prepaid credit card. So ya like cash that he can spend as he goes. I'd make him go through me but maybe it'd help him make smart decisions and learn how fast money disappears. Idk

I like the debit card idea. Give the gift of learning financial responsibility.
