I had brahmas before Orpingtons. They had the same faults for me as Orpingtons.
But anyways I bought 2 GL brahma chicks and waited forever. They turned out to be a pair. I was so happy but about the time the hen laid her second egg the dang rooster killed her.
That got me out of Brahmas immediately.

Oh wow! I alway thought brahmas looked evil lol

I just looked at the first pic, and those buff (or whatever colour) leghorns are so beautiful!
