Speaking of Rules......

Honestly those bumps don't bother me. Now what DOES bother me are posts that don't have a clear subject....

you see:
HELP HELP SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!! URGENT

and you click on it thinking death must be near. only to read some junk like HELP me pick some cute chicks for next year spring?... or something equally annoying under such a subject.

I also get annoyed when someone doesn't complete the subject....
Anyone have pictures of.........................

And everyone wastes time clicking to LOOK, and nobody has that picture of a Portuguese Wet water jungle hairy fowl!

I agree Wildsky.... that just drives me nuts too.

The bumps can be annoying but I just avoid the posts of people that I know do it just to get their thread going again for attention or whatever.... The emergency bumps have good reason for being brought up again. If someone needs help and doesn't get an answer after a few hours I can see why they would do it.

Just my 2 cents. I think, honestly that this forum goes very smoothly and is a pleasant place to visit daily.

Yeah I have to agree that there are times that there are exceptable bumps but really I have not seen to many bad bumps on here lately. In general I just ignore it to be honest

Wildsky, I've been just WAITING for someone to ask to see my picture of my prized Portuguese Wet water jungle hairy fowl ! ! ! Now you ruined it.

I agree, there are "good" and "bad" bumps so to say. If there is someone with a sick animal and 2-3 hours go by and nobody has an answer, a post by the op that says an update or that they still need help is fine. However, if that bump is 3 minutes after the first post, then that is usually taken out before everyone sees it. It's largely the timing and subject matter thing, and it can be subjective.

I stand chastized. I apologize for any bump I may have done. It has been awhile since I have gone over the rules, I only did it if I thought it was something people were interested in, and I will now go and give myself a refresher course on the rules!!! I truely did not mean to annoy anyone. Once again i apologize.
