That is exactly the reason another forum member got upset at me the other day...because they had some non-specific plea for help in the topic line...and of course no associated subject category shows up in the "recent" topic section at the bottom of the index page (the section alot of us on the board freg. go to to see what is current)...so, I opened the thread and it was extremely graphic about butchering...the person had posted it in the correct subject area but of course that didn't show in recent topics and in the subject line that they posted, it ONLY revealed the plea. They did go back and correct it but the entire thing could have been avoided and would be in the future if people would stop those non-specific pleas/yells for help!!! PLEASE FOLKS, LIST YOUR ISSUE IN THE TOPIC LINE OF YOUR POST...IT WILL GET MORE ATTENTION THAT WAY..OF THE KIND YOU SEEK...thank you...that and self-promoting/advertising your non-chicken wares ad-nauseum and for free, are my two pet peeves on this board!!...and again, I make the disclaimer that I am not referring to the etsy shop signature line here....

Non chicken wares, games that go on to infinity, and posts making fun of a troll are my pet peeves. These bury posts of people seeking help, or my favorite, baby chick pictures!

I am guilty of bumping but only when I feel its needed.

As for the games the way I see it is those people are having a good time. I don't
usually get involved in them but if it makes other members happy then it makes me
happy too.

I don't usually read the prayer request posts, only because they make me sad.
Many of those posts exceed 200 responses so a lot of good is being done.

If a lot of the non-chicken & personal stuff wasn't here then most of the members
wouldn't be here either. This board is a lot more bablanced than most other forums.
