Seven passed away yesterday afternoon.

Oh no, no! i found this thread today and i immediately fell in love with Seven. :hit
She was beautiful and you are a very nice chicken-mother.
I didn't expect this ending, i'm very very sorry :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs😭😭😭
I had one chicken with special needs only one time, when my Isa brown Giada became blind because of her age. I fed her in my hands. She died in a short time...and it broke my heart. i can understand you... :hugs ☹ ☹I'm very sorry, you did all the possible. :hugs:hugs:hugs

I was going to write about how bad she was at the end but I think I would rather talk about some of her antics. The girl could hop. She would get up on the heater and wait until her brooder mates congregated close by and jump in the middle of them as If to say gotcha. If they got startled by something she would try to get by them. She liked to be touching someone. The other chicks didn't pick on her, mostly just ignored her. Sometimes they would pull her tail but not in a mean way, just wondered what it was. I think she could see shadows o r something like that because she would stand about an inch from the cord to the heater and then suddenly jump over it. She did that on a regular basis. Once when I was feeding her she started jumping around and landed on my hand, she set there and I fed her like that, which wasn't easy cause she didn't or couldn't open her mouth on her own .
Much better way to remember her. She was a darling.:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy
