I hate to say this and I was hoping she would pull through, but maybe its time to end her suffering? Poor thing, I really do hope she gets better!

Yes, you are right. She is pitiful this morning. I just haven't worked up the nerve.
when my mother was dying from leukemia and the only thing keeping her alive was my sister taking her to the hospital to get red blood cells, I had to say, "not this time. Let her go." If I can do that for my mother I can do it for this little bird. Her quality of life is non existent. She is dying.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. My nephew had leukemia, diagnosed when he was 3. He pulled through and is now an adult. But I know how hard it is to see someone go through all that. Hopefully you can work up whatever nerve you need, I would find it hard to do also.
