Special Treats!!

Does anyone know if chickens like to eat or rather drink milk

I have one that doesn't really like anything all the others love. She does like raw spinach and the others are okay with it.

My chickens like pizza crust, raspberries - fresh or frozen, cucumbers, tomatoes, dried meal worms, yogurt, milk that is starting to turn, pancakes, crushed egg shells, bread, hot dog bits, cooked carrots, cooked peas and noodles.

They will not eat fresh or frozen peas, bananas, dandelion leaves, lettuce or raw carrots.

My Honey is always trying new treats for the ladies, things they love:
1. Bananas
2. Cornbread
3. Yogurt, even plain
4. Cucumbers
5. Grated cheese
6. Grainy or seeded bread
7. Strawberries and Blueberries
8. Hardboiled eggs
9. Salad - meaning lawn weeds, I let a section of the yard grow them and then harvest large handfuls for them twice a day and they love them!

PBJ sandwiches! And strawberries. I've tried oranges but my two are scared of them and won't go near them :/ they ran away from watermelon too. My chickens are not normal though lol

Apples, any leftovers, they love macaroni.

My garden is overgrown, with weeds, there aren't enough hours in the day and we just started it this year, so I regularly fill a largish cardboard box with the weeds as i pull them and toss it in the run for them to pick through, and the run still has grass and its own weeds in it.

I'm debating buying a big bag of black oil sun flower seeds for the winter, but I haven't decided yet, I have a few months before the grass quits.

I buy the bags of black oil sunflower seed and have been sprouting since last fall. I was going to stop sprouting in the spring when things greened up but the chickens love them so much, I havent stopped! Even our goats, bunnies and dog like them too! Just soak a couple cups ( I do probably 5 or 6 cups in small bins) soak overnight, then rinse and drain morning and night, I start more seeds every 2 or 3 days and keep it going. My chickens love them each morning and it is great for their feathers and very nutricious! They all look beautiful and feel good too!
