Special Treats!!

My chickens love chia seeds I soak some in water for about 30 minutes and then let them have at it. Other than that they really only seem to like grass and meal worms as treats

My girls love bread, spagetti, corn cobs, tomatos, lettuce, rice, bacon, scrambled eggs!

Whatever I juice, I give my chickens the pulp. They also love bananas and grasshoppers. Watching them catch grasshoppers is hilarious!

for japanese beetles if you have them around we made our chickens a walk to get the japanese beetles off the grape vines

My girls are 20 weeks old and they go crazy for the stems from mushrooms. I also give them squash and extras from my garden. They go wild when they see me coming with the food bag.

Mine share parfaits with me . I layer strawberries, figs, cherries, yogurt, and kashi cereal. I eat 90% and give the rest to the girls.
