I feel like this could be an incredibly obvious question..but I truly do not know the answer lol. I’ve been getting these speckled-ish eggs almost daily. I believe I do have a Welsummer in my mix, so maybe it’s from her? I have the occasional egg that definitely has blood on it, this is my girls’ first full season laying. They went from laying not a single egg over winter, to little egg factories overnight. If this is blood, what the heck is causing this pattern?

Side note..the surface of the egg feels different than those that are non-speckled

Looks like 'speckles' to me.
Or could be porous too, candling it will tell that tale.
As long as shell is good and hard, nothing to worry about.
