I have 18 chicks total:
10 speckled sussex
1 silkie
2 RIR
5 BLRW

Congrats! Those Speckled Sussex are interesting. They hatch very well, early often, and they change their color pattern as they grow. My Nelda is a real beauty, but that girl is so food-obsessed, she cracks us up daily. We often find her roaming the decks, looking for the scratch can or the catfood bowl I keep for the stray cat I feed. And she has this whiny desperation in her voice like she's always starving to death, LOL.
