Speckled sussex Hen or Roo?

I'm not sure! Leaning hen, but she does have a larger comb/waddles than my SS girl. Maybe check for hackle feathers around her neck-- are they spoon shaped or pointy? Better pictures would help!

He is a roo. I can see his tail feather/Saddle feather on the 1st pic. Hen doesnt have tail feather like that.

I think we need to see a few side shots before saying for certain. Both of my girls look similar to yours, I've attached photos of both at 17 weeks so you can see the comparison, and Gidget is already laying too.

This is Gidget, you can see the size and color of her comb and wattles

Flo has not layed as of yet, but is talking up a storm so very soon for her, you can see the difference in tail feathers too.

Okay, got some pics and after all the discussion, i kinda think its a hen, but id still like everyones advice!

This is a tough call, resembles my hen somewhat, but it's stance is roo like, if you haven't heard it crow then I'll lean pullet for now. Our Flo girl just laid her first egg yesterday, she was 19 weeks to the day.

Thats a rooster
My SS Sissy has basically no comb at 17 weeks, and wattles are very small and yellowish pinkish

this was at 14 weeks I think

You cannot go by those features alone, take a look at my 2 girls at 17 weeks, big combs and wattles, and both started laying around 17 and 19 weeks. No crow tends me to believe she's a she.
