I heard back from the breeder. He is a Standard Partridge Cochin. I wonder if he will fill in more? Does anyone know? He is about 10 months old. Thanks.

So sorry I don't have a prize for the correct guess! It is a little disappointing about hte lack of quality, I wonder if he will fill in? He is 10 months old.

I know how you feel. I've had a lot of let-down birds myself. Here's a real nice cochin roo from Cetawin's cochin page. I think his quality kept everyone from guessing cochin

I would keep asking the breeder what other birds he has. Other than having feathered feet, I see no resemblance to a standard cochin. He is very pretty though!
