Speckled Sussex?

Mine are lighter than my RIRs...about the same as a Barred Rocks or my Wyandottes.

You guys have gorgeous birds!! I have a friend looking for BANTAM Speckled Sussex. Does anyone know who raises them?

My sussex are from cackle hatchery, so they are nothing special, but I really love them. would love to find a source of better quality ss!

When I get a chance I'll try to take a pic of my gals' eggs... they range from practically white to about the darkest you'd see in a store-boughten box of brown eggs, if that helps any

Did you find the eggs you need??? I have a dozen which will be ready to go on Monday if you still need them.....Not rushing you but I want BYC members to have first priority at my eggs as BYC has helped me sooooo much.

This is one of my SS. I left the car hatch open as I was loading it up to go to the dump, and they hopped in! They'll lay about 3 eggs a week each at this point. From very pale brown to mid-brown color. Very sweet birds!
