I still have not cut him off the hide yet...making that first cut will take me a day probably. I turn into a big ole scaredy cat about cutting...it is so /permanent' ya know. LOL After seven months of him being securely on the hide whew .... I will do it...sometime....eventually....maybe.... LOL

I did it! Right after i got off the phone with you, Cyn, I went in and took a deep breath and then cut him off the hide. YAY. I weighed him...he is just shy of 3/4 ounce in weight, has 25, 497 beads on him and measures 9" W x 12" H.

He currently has glue drying on the backside over the stitching threads.

Whew not the cutting part is done, now to attach the backing blue hide and stitch it on as an extra measure and poke holes for the wire wrapping. LOL Another "hate to do" is poking holes in the hide. hahahaha

You do mean 3 lb 4 oz right? No way he can be 3/4 oz, LOL! Not with over 25K beads! He looks so awesome, that boy. Now, let me know when that incubator is humming along.​

hehehe nope only 3/4 oz. here. Remember they are small beads. LOL My kitchen scale is also not set up to measure his bigness. LOL I might step on the scale later and then step on with both of us. LOL

He may be heavier. When I take a bath tonight I am gonna weigh myself and then go grab Suede and weigh us. That will tell me if he is anything abovve 1 tenth of a pound or heavier. hehehehe

Ummm yeah Miss broody got thumped on the beak this evening. She stole another egg and I went to take it and she fluffed up, growled and pecked...she got a good thumb and a stern reminder of how close to a stew pot she was.
