Not really...here it is simplified...

I am beading a likeness of the Rooster lovingly known as The Suedenator for Speckledhen. I am taking that beaded piece and making into something else which is a surprise so is not being stated. Mahonri popped in with his sense of humor, WriterofWords responded with a matching story and no one is dancing with toilet brushes today.

The picture is just one Speckledhen emailed to me and I blew up really big so I have Suede to look at while I bead him on deerhide.

Does that help?

I could make it real easy but then I would give away the surprise part.

beadsbydeb , If i can remember right has a bead pattern that can take a picture and turn it into a peyote pattern with delicas. That is how Sig gets her wonderful patterns, or some of them she is super creative. Beads are my first love next to horses and cats. So want to see your work do share pictures.

and let that be a lesson to you. *snicker*

I just need you all to know, that I'm not insensitive, I just don't care.

Are you on your medication again? You need to throw those things away!

ml I will post pics for sure. I have a beading software that lets me turn a picture into several peyote stitches, loom, brick, cheyenne and so forth. I thought about doing him in a big loom piece but I want to do the applique' and add some texture to him.

I cannot wait to get all these beads in...they are all enroute so by weekend I should have them all.

I love my beads. hehehehe

Here is some of my applique' beadwork and other styles...

my DH's breach clout for his regalia. The eagle (and the drumstick and pipe in his talons) is done in 2 needle applique' stitch and the background is done in lazy stitch.

He will be the first chicken I have ever beaded. hehehehehe

Cetawin, your beadwork is beautiful. I have heard how time-consuming that is. It will truly be a work of art when you're done, something to cherish.

I will be following this thread with interest.
