Cetawin, thanks so much for calling today! Had a great time gabbing with you! I can see my birds now, but it's hard getting down all the steps to get to the coops. My sweet DH just has to be a chicken transport and bring me one of the girls every once in awhile to hold. When I am able to hobble on both feet, I plan to go sit with them in the run.

Ya know maybe Tom could rig up one of those furniture dolly things and carry you down there like Hannibal Lecter...just roll you down there and stand you up in the run.

Of course he has to remove the mask and untie you so you can enjoy the girls but he could safety strap back you in for the return UP the hill.

A bungee might work...Tom could sort of slingshot her down there...but man the return to the porch would be rough.

I did work on suede some today and am taking a break from him right now. I have started adding the Third Blue, another darker tone to his neck and back.

I will either put pics up before bed tonight or first thing in the am. I am really getting a kick out of doing this project. I had a friend stop by today with his son and they both saw it sitting on the table and said "Whoa...whose rooster is that?" I showed them the picture of Suede and they both were floored with how much it looks like him.

BTW both gentlemen said he was fine rooster Cyn. Suede has a fan club started here in Cave Junction, OR....so make sure you tell him he has fans out here.

Maybe I'll make a "Suede Adoration Map" and put a pin in every town where he has fans. Then put it on the wall in his coop. The only problem is that if his head swells anymore, I'll have to add onto the coop, LOL.
