Okay update on Suede time. I must ask forgiveness because I have been caught up in duckie cuteness and have spent way too much time playing with the crew of 11 instead of beading on Suede. Forgive me Speckledhen

I will get on it, I promise!

Thought you'd never get past the hackles, did ya? Hey, you should check out the two Seude babies that Shadow hatched under Raising Chicks! One is blue and one black, plus one BR from Ivy with Dutch.

I am so glad Suede is turning out so well...I knew the hackles would be one of the longest jobs...now the chest feathers...they will be the most tedious but I am enjoying watching them come out and take form.

You are making me blush...but one thing I do like about it which the pictures do not capture....it is not flat...there are raised areas in it where I really crowded the beads so there is a "texture". I am going to see if my camera will capture it on a level plane with the hoop...so far I have not got it right in a picture...

I had to flip back thru this whole thread to watch Suede "come to life"... Gorgeous! And I do love his eye, PROUD but not *mean*... This is inspiring me to get back into some form of arts/crafts and "CREATE"...It's been a while and I MISS it, so thanks for that.
