Speckledhen **Beading is DONE Pg 39**

Oh, Ladyhawk, it's beautiful! Oh, I do have two Suede feathers, but not the pretty dark ones or the sickles. I have them pressed between a card to protect them and hope to get a couple more, different ones. I can send them to you anytime you like or wait for more from the big guy.

I hope Suede wont go into a very heavy molt! Those feathers would be perfect for this beautiful artwork!

Way to go, Cetawin!!!!! I'm impressed!

Suede finished his molt and is holding onto those feathers for dear life! I told her I was tempted to pluck one of his pretty sickle feathers to send her for the project, but I just cant do it. He'll have to donate willingly, LOL.

Oh heavens don't pluck that boy...I will send instructions with the project on how to add them later when he donates. hahahaha

I think I am going to get some C clamps and 1 x 1's...sand them down and just clamp him tightly to it so I have the larger work area because he is exploding out of this hoop.

JennsPeeps - I am about to the point where I have to make a frame to hold it to finish him...I will weigh him when I get there.

I am super critical of my work and I am just really thrilled with how he is turning out. Cannot wait to finish and send it off for Suede to see his likeness....that will be the real test.

Cyn...if you need to, gather up some of the girls' blue feathers and just get a baggie of them together...I do not think Suede would mind having the women share in the donations. What I am wanting to do is to attach the feathers to fringework and lock them inside crow beads that match your livingroom colors.

Cyn, take your time. Don't rush them or they will hold their feathers for dear life. hahahaha I can hear them thinking...

"she is taking the feathers what's up? Don't drop them keep em all!"

TheChickenLady thank you.

absolutely stunning. I just read through the whole post. Its amazing how hes coming together. I like alot of others on BYC saw Suede and wanted blue orpingtons. I can remember telling my DH about the giant blue chicken and he saying yeah right. Unfortunately we never did get a blue roo but I still love the breed. Can't wait to see him finished.
