Yes, I have seen how high those items go for. That is why I don't have any regalia in my collection - it is very expensive. Worth it though, they are gorgeous and have historical meanings. I just love Native American art and history. I even have plans of doing my freestyle reining run in native american.

I really understand what you mean about the real cost in time, hurt fingers, aching eyeballs, etc. I hand-piece and hand-quilt quilts and no one ends up paying me even $1/hr by the time it's all done. This work is amazing and I am so blessed to have a wonderful friend like Ladyhawk. Thanks so much, sweetie.

BTW, I have a couple of Suede's shorter sickle feathers now! All we need are some of the darker hackle or saddle feathers!

I have been promising a picture of the beadwork on a level plane to try to capture the depth variance...finally I have a picture that is somewhat an accurate representation to share. Also, updated pictures of the progress as of July 3rd. I have been buzzing around for a couple of days trying to get Cheyenne packed and ready to fly to Florida on Sunday so, Suede has been neglected for the past couple of days but he is getting worked on, in spurts.

Wow. I have several feathers to send you, but guess I'll have to pluck a couple of the darker ones since he's not giving those. If I can just fit that in around dealing with bumblefoot, broody hens, Zane's needs, etc.
