SpeckledHen - Broken Ankle - DO NOT PM HER!!!

No danger of doing too much. I'm stuck in the bed till the swelling and the pain goes down. Can't sleep, even with the strong meds. May have to resort to Unisom, LOL. So very exhausted, you have no idea. I'm not used to laying down all the dang time. I run from daylight to dusk with my chickens and I cant do anything!

I pity you Cyn I really do when I am not at school or doing work. My parents say that 50% of my time is spent with my chickens and the other 50% is on BYC.

Let it snow let it snow LET IT SNOW !!!

5 inches and counting

Oh Cyn - I feel for you. I can't even read about the screws and having staples removed without getting wozzy and sick to my stomach. I can operate on chickens but let me read about someone having an operation or procedure and my face goes pale and I get light headed.

Take it easy, as if you have a choice. Maybe take this time to put together that scrapbook or photo album you always wanted to do or take up cross stitching.

I'm glad to hear you're on the mend, Cyn...

how's Tom holding up? If something like that happened to me, my Hubby would throw in the towel, I think!

Tom isnt getting much rest. He's been sleeping on the couch rather than the daybed because that's too short. And the dog gets cold and gets under his legs so he cant stretch out there, either, LOL. He's had to haul me up and down the 9 steps when we have to go to the doc and that's not easy at all, especially with his bad back, but he's amazing. He does what needs to be done and just remains my rock. Everyone should be as lucky as I am. And he loves the birds, too. Who could ask for more?

Just take it easy and do everything the doctor says..or your body allows..as we don't want you having something else happening. Jean in MI slipped on her crutches outside in the snow and went down and she just recently had surgery!! I keep telling her to stay in the house! I know Tom will keep you in unless it is a dr. appointment. Prayers and hugs to you.

Dang Cyn hope you will rest easy! Good thing you dont have chicks for the moment, dont you? Tom will be alright and one day he will have your help just as well. That is what marriage is all about!

I've been here with him with his back and other issues, just not lately. Dragged him into the emergency room with that more than once or twice. He's not complaining, but I'm holding my breath that he doesn't get hurt while I'm hurt.
