Usually, pipping on the bottom isn't a big problem. It just means they make you all the more crazy, thinking they are not pipped when they are. Then suddenly, the two halves are pushing apart. I'd just leave them unless a an egg gets stuck inside of another one's empty shell.

I have had fabulous humidty and each time one is hatched, it jumps up to above 75% so I reach in and grab the shell when I move one to the brooder. So I have no shell halves in the bator. Just little pieces. the lowest my humidity dropped to was 66% when I took out two babies and 2 shells.

I guess I will go take a bath, talk to the babies in the brooder (they are right beside my tub) and then come embroidery in the kitchen for the night. You know I cannot sleep until my Suede babies hatch. There are only 3 of them and I cannot let anything go wrong with them, if I can help it.

And son of a monkey's uncle...as soon as I type I am going to take a bath that stupid roomie jumps in the shower. OMG I am gonna kill him!

You know...he is not a bright man. First it was taking my laundry out of the machine so he could watch his comforter because his cat threw up on it (like I give a flying flip), then he is holding his cats over my bator to show them the babies and now this....you know he is not a smart man to mess with menopausal me, while waiting on suede babies to hatch. not smart at all.

Oh BTW Delaware baby is doing really good. He was up and walking just a bit and then back down to rest. He just needs time. I know that is my DH's roo...it has to because it scared the snot out of me. So, it has to be his boy. LOL

You go whenever you are ready dear...I have 3 hours left to catch up with you....I will be here in the am to update you...promise. ***Hugs***

g'nite dear...sleep well. ELEVATE YOUR FOOT! to help that ankle.

2 Orps have pipped! YAY! I kept hearing this tapping on the side of the bator and thought it was Delaware #2 who is still in there gaining some strength and drying. Nope it was the egg the little ones had pushed into the corner. I gently rolled it 1/4 turn and there was the pip. Poor baby was pipping against the side of the bator. Then I noticed the next closest orp egg had a small pip in it. hehehehehe

The third one is still no visible pip as are the 2 delaware and my 2 EEs. *sigh* I am going to hang in a bit longer and then head to bed. Sneaky Orps..waiting until after 1:30 am to pip. tsk tsk

The egg I rolled 1/4 turn away from the side of bator...hatched. I heard a 'new' peep about 5 and came running out here to see baby kicking away the shell.

Here s/he is...I had to turn on the lights to get pictures...I do not care if I wake the household
