I went out today and got everything I needed for them except medicated food...I will pick that up tomorrow. YAY! Day 17 here lockdown tomorrow.

I re-candled the questionable ones tonight and it is not good...I tried to take pics for you...looking through the side near the small end

2 of Skye's were absolutely clear with notta...

1 od Skye'slooked like this...very red and all the way around the egg

and this one of hers...red with a faint line around the egg

1 Delaware was a no go also just this real red spot

So, now it is wait and see on the rest...

Sorry the pics are so bad but I needed a third hand...one was holding the egg, 1 was holding the camera and I was trying to hold the light and pressure plate with my teeth. LMAO

You tossed those, right? Seems that either Skye's eggs are not fertile or they are just super sensitive and delicate and don't like to be shipped at all, since it seems development did begin on a couple. Smoky's eggs usually do really well, as do the Delawares (who are tough little critters like the BRs)

I did not toss them...I wanted to wait to get your opinion this morning...I will toss them when I lockdown this evening. they are all on the far left side of the trays so I an just grab them easily and pitch them.

I held hope for Skye's one but I am was pretty sure I lost it a few days ago.

LOL I removed it last night around 6 pm, removed the eggs we discussed and there were 2 of your eggs that would not hold still! One of Smoky's and one of the Delaware eggs were busy busy and bumping into other eggs. I was forced to put those two in time out by themselves.

this morning, those two are again right next to another egg. Bad babies bad bad. But they are still sleeping now at 9:30 so not only are they bad babies they are slackers!

The temp is holding at 100.2 on the hygrometer, 100 on my mercury thermometer. The humidity is holding steady at 71% (64 % reading on the hygromemeter) but I have to keep my little turtle belly in the corner or the humidity will rise above the safe zone I have set in my mind of 73%, I think it would easily rise above 75%. I filled all the channels with warm water and soaked the sponge, wrung it out and put it in the gladware. So, I think I am doing okay. I hope so anyway.
