***Spew Alert*** Eggs DO NOT go in the Microwave!

My MIL used to store her egs in the microave before baking... to get them to roomtemp. She also keeps the dinner for her DH in the microwave if she leaves before he comes home. ONe beautiful day she ran out the house to get something for baking and her husband came home while she was gone. As usual he turned the nuke machine on to heat up his dinner. 90 seconds later BAM!!!!!!
eight eggs exploded and actually blew the microwave of its cart.

(I know from doing similar - in making an egg for my feathered friends - that egg does not come off easily! Though your explosion of egg has mine beat by a country mile!)

Hey... psssttt...

You can't cook eggs inside the shell in the microwave.

Just thought you would like to know in case you didn't know.

Yep, eggs explode in the microwave and yep I use to work night shift as a 911 dispatcher. Sleep deprivation can do some funky things to your brain at 5 and 6 in the morning
