They have a tractor that I don't move inside the fence. So they wander in the garden during the day and are shut up at night.

So you shut them in the tractor at night and nothing gets them?

Yes, it is secure. Hardware cloth, plywood, and 2x4s.

I want to do a tractor, but for rabbits. I haven't ventured that far yet though into my farming adventures. I'm thinking about putting deer fencing around my garden and putting some chickens in there and moving the secure coop over there too to lock them in at night.

Maybe I'll try silkies... Depends on what these new chickens look like.

I had to put chicken wire around the raised beds so they don't eat all of my tomatoes!

I was just going to ask you if they ever eat your vegetables...

Guess that answers my question.
