Spiral leg bands

I have the following breeds:

Buff Orpington,
Wyandotte
Rhode Island Red
Ameraucana
Easter Egger
Olive Egger:

I went to the local feed store and I was told the size 11 spiral bands will fit all of these breeds but the band looks really loose on the hens. I tried to look for a photo of how it should look like on the leg of a hen.

Does anyone know what size these breeds wear?

Why do you want to band your chickens ? I own pigeons and band them but only for myself so I know their age, If you are banding your chickens , then loose would be preferred to tight.

I only need to band the Buff Orpingtons, the Wyandottes and the Ameraucana hens because I have a hard time telling them apart. It is for identification purposes only.

I can't remember what size I had for my dual purpose birds, but some were pretty loose, like bangles. They've stayed on just fine for over a year, though. I was more concerned about bands being too tight. That is a nice thing about the hospital design, the fit is more forgiving.
