you go girl!Sorry Iain spelled your name wrong, My bad. Thank you Iain, Miss Lydia and Triplell. I have been on dialysis for 13 years now. Am on 2 transplant list. I have high Antibodies which makes it hard for them to find me a kidney. In July of 2002 they removed both of my kidneys they were full of polycystic cycst and they were the size of babies each. So have been without kidneys since then.
This past year was a fight for my life. A year ago September I had to be rushed to the hospital with a pain I have never had in my life and I had 3 kids... My large intestine had split open and was poisioning my system. I had to have emergercy surgery they did not think I was going to make it I was in such bad shape. The cut 6 inches of my intestine out. Had to put an ostomy bag on me for 3 months. Then had surgery again Dec. 15th and they repaired the hernia I got and my intestines had enough time to heal. Then 3 months later in March I got another hernia where they did the big surgery. So again had to be cut through my whole stomach. So where they took the kidneys out had to be recut 3 more times. Then in July I had to have surgery on my neck to take out my parathryoid glands. I have had a lot of recovering to do.
I started doing my birds again as soon as I healed. They bring me joy and happiness. I just love sitting on the couch looking out the window at them running with wings out looking like little angels!
They are what keeps me in somewhat of shape. I let them out in the mornings and feed them. Clean their water and give fresh pool water. Then put them up at night. My husband has to do the mucking the pens out for me. So he gets the credit for that not me...
I have broken my back throught out my life 3 times. I know this sounds like a tail but it is true. Once when 18 year old, once in 1978 and then in about 2005. So do have problems with a lot of back pain. This is how I ended up in the hospital this past year from the pain killers that put you intestines to sleep.
Oh, sorry I went on and on.
Do not feel sorry for me be happy that I am ALIVE and can still walk, clean the house somewhat and cook and care for the geese and our great dane Kindra. Also when husband goes hunting I take care of the 5 horese 2 big ones and 3 mini's.![]()

Good morning, friends.
Ruru, Gloria is beautiful!! Simply a stunning pair! Thank you for sharing pics. I am happy that she recovered so nicely for you. Spirit continues to clearly improve. I had to run him down last night to get him inside, even though it was after midnight when I put him up (I fell asleep on couch and hubby woke me to put Spirit up then go to bed).
Triplell, Marty & Lydia, you are all such strong and wonderful women. I feel privileged to call you three byc friends.![]()
You know, a lot of people think they have a lot of problems, and they seem really important at the time.
You have so many serious medical issues that if given to a person one at a time would give them troubles....and you have them all at once.
Fortunately, you have a GREAT attitude, strength, obviously a great family, and beautiful geese that keep you going. All a person can do is the best they can every day they are able to do it and you seem to do just that.
In my eyes, you are really a ....
