Hey ladies, thanks for checking in!

Spirit is continuing to make good progress. He is starting to put some weight on foot and can sort of stand and get around. I let him stay out of kennel yesterday and (typical for Spirit) he pushed himself too much, so I had to kennel him at bed time to force him to rest. I'm looking forward to having a few days off work so I can spend more time with him. Now that the wound has fresh granulation and is no longer so raw, I expect Spirit to be up and about in no time.

Spirit gave me a belated Christmas present last night. He finally started standing and walking in his room!! He still has a long way to being fully recovered but I am feeling pretty darn optimistic that he will be better than ever in the next few weeks.
