I would check into filing a restraining order, this is a violation of constitutional rights to freedom of religion.

I dont think you can get a restraining order against a eight year old ,maybe her mom. But they can suspend her DD for harassing your child. You need to push the school board buttons. And be prepared for a CPS visit.

Yep, she is telling her daughter that she will go to hell if she doesn't save my daughter's soul! I am not Christian but I feel very comfortable saying that this is not a part of anything jesus said!

Yes you are correct. Jesus would never condemn someone for that.

I am a Christian but that lady was completely wrong in how she handled the situation.​

Here's the thing about dealing with an insane person: one of you has to remain sane.

I feel very sorry for this child. I think the school has done all it can to help this little girl. The guidance counselor at the school said she spoke to my daughter and she said there had been no recent problems.

My daughter has a loving and supportive group of adults around her both at home and at school. This other little girl clearly does not.

This mother would have to seriously escalate things to have me even contemplate taking this any further.

I think I was more than she had bargained for!

she seemed taken aback by my responses and I suspect will not approach me again. The school is keeping an eye out for her child and that is all I can ask.

That doesn't mean I don't sometimes wish i had kept my mouth shut! The ability to come back quickly just sometimes means you wish you had given it more thought before you said it.

The "Christian" thing for you to do is to graciously invite this young girl over to your home, and teach her The Way. I mean, you wouldn't want her to endanger her young soul with such misguided ideas, would you?

I suggest a ritual to raise the Mighty Chtulhu from his long sleep.

A straight-up Wiccan sky-clad worship service might resonate more recognizably with Christian Mom. Too bad you just missed the equinox/Ostara.
