Crossy is good. More balanced overall with a good amount of beard.

I'm not overly familiar with Ameraucana type by the standard, so I can't be much help with your birds. However, I figured you'd like to know if you didn't already that the Ameraucana Breeders Club is having a district meet at the Ohio National next month that they're hoping will be the last qualifying meet to get large fowl Splash in the standard.

This is great to know. Hopefully they accept the splash as it's a product of bbs (obviously). I would like to let my nephew show them next year at under the standard. I'm just trying to figure out if they are quality birds or if I need to look for another breeder.
