Hello all! Meet Marbles! She is my love! My first silkie who holds a very special place in my heart. She is the sweetest thing. I am wanting another, as most of you are probably saying, duh! lol. I was having a really hard time choosing a color. But now I have decided. Splash. With your splash photos on here and Sanna's Ace I met last week, I'm sold! I think I want a started pullet, so I could just integrate her into the group of other girls. No more in my dining room dust factory! lol. I am going to go to the Swap in Mass on July 7th. What are the odds that there would be SQ silkies there for sale? I have never been to one. Very excited. Hopefully I come home with just one!

Any breeders in Ohio or traveling to/through Ohio this fall? I'm looking for a blue or splash show quality (or close to) rooster. I recently bought hatchery chicks in blue, black and maybe 1 splash and I want to keep the better hens and start breeding and selecting ones that closer meet the standard.

I am looking for full nicely feathered splash silkies. I have ordered off of MPC and have been very disappointed with the quality of the silkies I get from them...

I am getting some chicks in on Aug 5 so I could do chicks, or I would be fine with a pullet or even an adult that is already super friendly and beautiful. Is there anyone in the Maryland area? Or anyone that ships?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
