Splash/ Blue Silkie Thread

Thanks! She's one of my babies I got this past spring. She's 12 weeks old. She runs out with five other chickens I got at the local feed store.

Here are our three birds. The two blacks and then our Splash rooster.



We have some eggs in the incubator right now and next week we should see what comes out. I am hoping to get some stunning blues from this trio. The one black hen is so dark though I am almost tempted to get a black rooster to go with her. She is just really pretty and I would love her more if she had more of a crest.

I just had some silkies shipped and received them this morning. I was thinking this chick and one like it will be splash, but most of the chicks I see on this thread look more silvery or gray. Can anyone tell me what to expect from these chicks?

This one looks more like the ones I have seen on this thread. Is it more likely to be a splash?
