Just wondering what this cross would produce cause Iam thinking of trying it when I get a splash hen cause Iam going to breed chocolate Roo over Splash hen???

Okay what if you crossed blue to chocolate or what about a splash Roo over a chocolate hen

Chocolate is sex linked.
Chocolate rooster has two chocolate genes.
Splash hen has two blue genes.
The cross will produce mauve pullets and blue cockerels that carry one chocolate gene.

Splash rooster over chocolate hen = blue pullets and blue cockerels that carry one chocolate gene.

So bascily how would I get it be to where a bird was both blue and chocolate feathering how would I breed for that??

Mauve is a bird that is blue and chocolate.
Your chocolate rooster over splash hens gives you mauve pullets.
The cockerels will carry blue and chocolate but will need the second chocolate gene to be mauve.
To get chocolate you have to have chocolate females. If the rooster is chocolate all offspring will be chocolate. If the rooster only has one chocolate gene he will not look chocolate but will pass a chocolate gene to 1/2 his offspring so half (give or take) will be chocolate.
If you dont understand how blue, black and splash works look it up.
To get all mauve offspring you would need a chocolate rooster over hens that are chocolate and splash. Or the other way around.
Mauve to mauve would give all offspring being chocolate or mauve or chocolate splash.
Hope that makes sense and helps
